Overall Satisfaction with Astera Centerprise

Our business intelligence group uses it to run our ETLs to pull data from over 10 source systems to our enterprise data warehouse. We also use it to generate data feeds to other systems from EDW.

Pros

  • Simplistic in standing up a complex ETL process in days.
  • Low maintenance.
  • Fast execution time.

Cons

  • Better normalization functions.
  • Shouldn't have to adjust to daylight savings.

  • Because of Astera we have been able to evolve and manage our EDW which has data from multiple sources today and is being used across our organization.
Much easier and faster development time, better interface.
