Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I was skeptical about Auvik. I saw a lot of targeted advertisements and finally gave it a shot. We utilize it to manage IoT devices that we use across our customer sites. It allows us to see all the SNMP details, syslogs, and network visualization all in one place. It is easy to get started but harder to get everything right. But it does check a lot of boxes for us. Monitoring, SNMP, syslogs all in one place make it easier for my engineers to troubleshoot.

I think Auvik is great for slightly larger companies that can spend the resources to get it set up correctly. While you can use it out of the box to find devices and map your network. There is so much more than you can do with it, so it feels like a waste if you don't have the time to set it up fully.
