Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In Home Personal Care EVV System. The system allows our caregivers to clock in and clock out using the software's app to ping their clients location in order to uphold State and Federal guidelines that have been set for our type of provider to ensure they are where they are supposed to be at clock in and out and be able to list the ADLs that were completed for that client.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Our Customer Service Manager works hard for us and is so pleasant
Customer Support is prompt and courteous
Development seems to always try to make things better which is always welcome

Cons

Would like to see invoicing and billing work better together and not separated
TCM billing for AR is a high need
Billing AR Medicaid and rounding units and leaving small balances or overpaid balances would like to see resolved
Tasks tied to client accounts
Select multiple days at a time to remove all at once from the calendar

Return on Investment

Reports are quick and easy to pinpoint areas of Utilization
Messaging features allow us to quickly reach our CGs
Overall system has allowed for fewer employees compared to when we were paper billing

Usability

Overall usability is quite user friendly. I did teach myself a lot of the back billing areas but it was not hard and have grown to enjoy the system quite well

Alternatives Considered

We have worked with eRSP and HHA eXchange before and feel that they are all very similar and each have perks but overall AxisCare Home Care Software seemed to be the best fit for our company in meeting all the needs we have as an in home, non-medical personal care company.

Overall we like the features AxisCare Home Care Software has to offer, they seem to be working diligently in the background every day to improve and meet the needs of such a wide variety of providers and that is great. It has great reports we utilize to ensure accuracy and location of our Caregivers and only have a few where we have location issues but that is not the fault of AxisCare Home Care Software, it is Google Maps.
