Overall Satisfaction with Azure Firewall Manager

We have implemented the WAF in Azure to secure our internally developed Web Apps that are hosted in Azure. It has allowed us to provide access to users externally from our organization to our Azure apps without compromising security. Using the WAF allows us to funnel traffic into Azure whilst using Conditional Access in Azure AD with Enterprise Apps.

  • No cost having on Orem appliance.
  • Cheaper as we only pay for what is use in Azure for it.
Well, both are similar, but they are different. We are using the app gateway along with the WAF load to balance the traffic to the web apps that we have hosted in Azure.

Do you think Azure Firewall Manager delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Azure Firewall Manager's feature set?

Yes

Did Azure Firewall Manager live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Azure Firewall Manager go as expected?

No

Would you buy Azure Firewall Manager again?

Yes

WAF is great for apps hosted within Azure. It allows for great security as well as funneling traffic out through Azure rather than having to bring it back on-prem to your internal firewall to then go back out. Can really give too much of a reason for a situation where it doesn’t work as it has been used in one particular situation.
