Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud CRM

It is used by the Development Dept to manage our donor base. It greatly reduces the time it takes to get receipts and eliminates the need for a hard copy. The ability to attach documents to a donor file is extremely helpful.

Pros

  • Tracking donor gifts and donor touches.
  • Alerting staff of need for donor touches.

Cons

  • While the support has been great, at times we have needed someone with advanced expertise.
  • Positive ROI: it eliminated the need to hire an add'l part-time person to handle receipts and pull reports.
Blackbaud is the powerhouse and able to handle a large number of donor files. It is not difficult to learn if you take the time to utilize the tutorials. The conversion team was amazing as we worked through the transition.
There have been a few times where the average support team member was not able to assist with a problem. Once a more experienced person became involved, the problem was solved.

Keeping the Fundraising team on track with follow up and follow through when working with donors. There are several components we have not utilized at this point and it is just a matter of time.
