Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

We use it everyday for our Financial Reporting needs including auditing, monthly financial reports, accounts payable , accounts receivable, and to help manage fixed assets.

Pros

Cons

  • Speed
  • functionality that is across the board
  • more robust AR
  • Easy to train on
  • Ease of AP record
  • Scanning capaibility of records if chosen to use
Not as much so as we are also a user of Raisers Edge and most all of our donor information and reporting is done in there
It is easy as far as running reports, but again would like single account info when looking at it to also show non posted transactions to make it even easier.
Just does not have the functionality or the capabilities we need

The report functionality is great. You can choose what you want to include using the chart template and VCO and can customize to your needs.

One thing we struggle with is that when looking at single accounts it does not include non posted transation data, only data that has been posted
