Overall Satisfaction with BMC AMI Ops

We use BMC AMI Ops to automate a lot of DR activities that happen and it also supports the data center architecture we have implemented. This helps us in creating rule based automation which allows for a easier operation and the monitoring and logging helps us in a lot of ways. Overall a great addition

Because of the overall feature set is has. However I feel there is some room for improvement especially in documentation and wider API integration
  • AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management (ERM)
We use IBM's resource measurement facility in the past. Compared to that the BMC is more user friendly and has more feature set

BMC AMI Ops is well suited where the company has large data centers and needs rule based automation. This products also helps if the company has multiple data centers at different region. Helps in coordination and better management And not very well suited where the company data is managed by some other cloud company.
