Overall Satisfaction with Board

Board was used as we were searching for a platform to help my team and me analyze and forecast sales data to find the best avenue for investments. As a company that needs to fund hotels, I had to measure the variety of channels between bank loans, investment raising, and brand partnerships to see which was most feasible and yielded the best ROI.

Pros

  • HUGE data loads
  • I can throw files directly onto the page without needing to dig through the "open" search window
  • Analytics is displayed in great visual graphics

Cons

  • Initial implementation is tedious (I get its necessary, but still...)
  • Layout design is tricky too
  • My experience with customer service took forever

  • Data analytics allows for clear decision making with results
  • Time saved with computing power frees team for other tasks
  • Value outweighs the cost, but approximately 50% ROI
Based on your budget and what your inclination is to brand/service reputation, you can always find a different platform that can do more/better for the same/less cost, based on how you seek to find the metrics you want analyzed. It also depends on how your forecasting and measuring will scale in the future
As with any data analytics platform, you need to have large amounts of quantifiable and RELIABLE data for the system to make valid recommendations. I would suggest large-scale projects and analytics. If you want something smaller scale, there are probably better-suited platforms and applications. Having a dedicated team to solely manage the platform is best too. Not for the small team settings.
