Overall Satisfaction with bolt Insurance Agency Platform

I’m a WFG agent that has a referral program. I recommend to my clients and myself. Mainly for personal auto insurance and one time for general liability. Many of my clients are international students that not too many insurance companies would insure. I explained that using Bolts can eliminate hours and avoid receiving lots of spam calls and emails.

Pros

  • Calls get answered in reasonable time
  • Friendly agents
  • Eliminate spam calls

Cons

  • 6 months policies is limiting in options
  • Online application don’t cover all details
  • Online uses hard to understand language
  • Service after contract is confusing, having to call both Bolt and the insurance provider for resolutions on payment or ending contact.
  • I had a foreign client that got confused and I spent hours helping him by making calls with the insurance company and Bolt.
  • Commission took 3 months.
  • I have a client feedback saying it’s too expensive and bought from somewhere else the 2nd year. When he purchased was his first policy in the US.
Confusing language. Maybe a question mark icon to click for explanations. Options don’t offer options meeting individual needs. Speaking with an agent who can answer questions and provide answers is still very necessary. I ran quotes a few times for clients and 100% of the time we need a live agent to run it again. Also, a company rating rendered for results from smaller companies would help create trust.
The web process is not encouraging. I often just inform clients to plug in whatever and don’t worry about the details. The main thing is get the quote referenced number to speak with an agent on line. They’re very helpful. There are some online questions that is hard to answer.
I have experience after filling out all the questions online that it took forever for the system to render results.

overall the spear is fine, especially for an Asian to come online within five or 10 minutes. It’s really acceptable,
although there were a time my client complained that it took 45 minutes to get to speak with someone
Bolt is the only one I used.

The biggest concern is getting a good price and many would say, “if I get the same price, why don’t I go directly to the insurance company? “ Bolt is good for new drivers , except for people have a long time relationship established with an existing company.
