Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've been using Bonterra's tool EveryAction for 9 years while at various non-profit organizations. It meets our CRM needs, as well as our email marketing and text messaging needs. We primarily use it as an advocacy tool. I really like how easy to use the tools are, including mobile messaging, online actions, and targeted email. It's been great for our digital organizing program.

The deduplication tool could be better.
The mobile messaging inbox is very slow when attempting to respond.

Return on Investment

We've been able to centralize our data onto one tool. It's been great to automatically see what emails someone has gotten/opened, text messages someone has opened/, their voter file... etc., all in one place.
We've been able to run a successful e-mail program.

Implementation Rating

Parts of the initial migration weren't done correctly, and we have had various issues with the integrity of our data from the beginning. All the EA people were very friendly and helpful, but that problem has stayed with us since.

Reliability and Availability

Yes, it is available. I haven't had any downtime.

Performance

It has greatly impacted the advancement of our organization, as we have been able to implement various programs that didn't exist before.

EveryAction is a great tool, and I recommend it to any non-profit organization. I wouldn't recommend it to smaller or mid-sized organizations as it is expensive, but to others, it would be top of my list.
