Use Cases and Deployment Scope

EveryAction is one of the best digital platforms I have worked in. The system is as intuitive as it gets. I love how many different reportable fields each contribution contains. It makes pulling reports such a breeze! I have also used EveryAction to send our organization's annual tax acknowledgements via email and was pleased with the results.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Report Manager - running reports is super easy and the reports are very customizable
The system is very intuitive, I've easily found whatever I was looking for
You can customize most fields to meet the specific needs of your company

Cons

The bulk upload can be helpful, but needs some tweaks in order to not accidentally duplicate data
I wish the "tax letter" mail merge field in the email function allowed for more customization/formatting
I wish certain links would automatically open in another tab rather than always taking you within the same screen. I often lose my place

Return on Investment

Easier to reconcile/match the amounts from the donation software to our general ledger
Were able to cancel some of our other systems due to EA functionality

Implementation Rating

The training was not what we expected it to be. We wished we would have received more information up front as to what the training would focus on. We weren't sure if we needed to bring our own questions or if it was more like a class.

Reliability and Availability

It can be hit or miss. There have been times when I've submitted a ticket and heard back within an hour or two. Other times, it has taken days to receive a call back. However, I find the system so intuitive that I have only needed to call or put in a ticket a handful of times.

Performance

I am not involved with the goal setting or achievement, so I cannot properly answer this question. I work purely on the accounting side.

Likelihood to Recommend

EveryAction is great for nonprofits who want a one-stop shop. You can manage your donors, send emails, host ticketed events, and receive donations all within one platform. I never knew how nice it would be to have it all in one place. It does not necessarily connect well to other systems, so if you have donation software that you want to keep, it will require some manual work to connect the two.
