Overall Satisfaction with Buddy Punch
I, personally, use Buddy Punch to punch in & out from work, as well as enter my PTO hours. This helps me easily keep track of my hours I have worked for the week. I am also able to clearly see how many PTO hours are needed, if I'm taking any time off that week.
Pros
- Forgot to punch in/out - easy to fix your time
- can't figure it out - play around a bit & you will
- need to enter PTO - go to a different screen & just enter the amount of time you want to be paid for
Cons
- Helpful video of 'How To'
- Easy to fix time punches
- Easy to enter PTO hours
It's been over 15 years where I had to punch in for work. I did this with two different companies. Prior to this, both of those companies had their own personal punching system. It was much harder to use than this when it came to editing or entering in PTO. Even though I still need approval for changes, which makes sense, I can make the changes myself and add a note if needed. Past employers had to be left a note or talked to someone in order to get the approval taken care of. Here, it's just a simple click of some buttons. So EASY & manageable. Love it!

Using Buddy Punch
There are many people who use Buddy Punch at my place of work. They all have similar, yet different roles. Unfortunately, I do not know all of them. We have 11 locations, so I do not even know who is salary and who needs to utilize this application. I know that within my specific location, if we have an issue using it, we rely on each other to find the answer, as they have all been that easy to solve.
