Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cascade Server is being used by the Mathematics department of University of Texas Arlington to maintain the department website.

Pros and Cons

Easy to get used to the product because of the simple UI.
Can design clean because of the editor view and code view
Publishing and maintaining the structure of the website resources becomes lot easier because of the navigation view

Highlight the corresponding code of the component clicked in design view, helps to find the it's code easily than searching it manually

Return on Investment

Positive impact: Reduced effort and time for website maintainance
Negative impact: Code editor should have automatic indentation and color highlights for tags which would make code editing easier

Alternatives Considered

As compared to Microsoft Web Expressions tool, Cascade Server has a simpler UI but Web Expressions has a better code editor.

Likelihood to Renew

7 because, I am comfortable with Cascade Server now and if the upgraded version has previously mentioned features, I would definitely go for Cascade Server renewal.

Cascade Server is well suited for website maintenance since editing becomes extremely easy.
