Overall Satisfaction with Census
We use Census to sync data to our external SAAS tools. This offloads a lot of data/analytics engineering work to Census and we can focus more on modelling business logic and maintaining our data warehouse. We love having all the integrations in one place and can be pretty confident when we use a new popular tool Census either has or can build us an integration.
Pros
- Integrated with a lot of the popular tools out there
- Can be set up easily
- Great support
Cons
- Sometimes a custom setup is very clunky, this was the case with our Intercom segment setup
- There have been unexpected syncing failures before with vague error messaging.
- We had issues previously with trying to rename schemas, Census still tried to use the old names.
- We are able to respond to customers account health more rapidly by syncing our data into the various customer account management tools
