Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
It is being used across our whole organization. It has enabled us to automate our timecards and leave tracking systems. It has also enabled us to build and use custom reports to meet our specific and unique organization's needs. Lastly, it has allowed us greater flexibility when it comes to processing payroll.
- Processing a basic payroll is relatively simple.
- Ceridian Support handles most of the tax and compliance updates.
- The ability to access the program anytime, anywhere is a huge plus for our users and administrators.
- Changing even minor configurations (such as adding a new pay code) are incredibly difficult at times.
- Leave balance interfaces are confusing/unclear to both users and administrators.
- The implementation process can be overwhelming and very disorganized. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time!
- Positive: Processing a basic payroll takes less time that in previous systems we've used.
- Negative: Configuring and setting up custom reports can be very difficult and time consuming.
- Positive: For the most part, once something is configured properly (reports, new codes, etc), they work very well and save us time.
With Ceridian Dayforce comes access to Ceridian's Support Portal, which provides administrators with regular compliance updates. While many of these updates are pushed directly to the application by Ceridian, others are often in regards to policies that Dayforce doesn't directly handle. We've found these updates to be very, very helpful.
We do not use the recruiting, on-boarding, or performance management modules. Having the payroll, tax, HRIS, and reporting tools all in one online application has been very helpful.
We have previously used Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP).
