Overall Satisfaction with ChatGPT
I use ChatGPT for writing (summarise and paraphrase content, make the content tone more professional etc), email writing (professional context driven email drafting), pdf reading (analysing pdfs and Q&As around it), using web-search and deep research capabilities of ChatGPT. The chatbot helps me with professional writing, insights generation and web & deep research functionalities. It assists me in research around technologies, markets, industry and macro-economical analysis.
Overall, It helps me improving my productivity and by providing me with first base draft of intelligent data backed reports on which i build my research insights. Additionally, because of ChatGPT my reports completion time also significantly reduced driven by precise prompting and quicker responses with the tool.
With ChatGPT, my use cases are various like researching and analysing companies, industries, markets, building newsletters etc

Pros
- Writing, summarising, changing language tone, expanding or reducing the size of content
- Web research and deep research
- Coding for personalised app development
- PDF reading and analysing the content
Cons
- Needs improvements around content hallucination (it cant say no to users and hence sometimes it makes own answers)
- Needs improvement around statistical analysis (sometime it hallucinates with numbers)
- Web search misses various important info while crawling the web. If this can be fixed it will have great use case around AI web research
- When uploaded any pdf, often it overlooks some of the info in the uploaded pdf, which is visible in Q&A responses from ChatGPT
- Increase productivity enormously
- Time to complete research report goes down by half
- Reduces manual intervention to review final output produced by the tool
- The reports is free from grammar errors, crisp, structured, professional and easy to digest
In my experience ChatGPT does great job than any other LLM model at this moment. However, in terms of web search, Perplexity scores high compared to ChatGPT because ChatGPT misses critical news while doing web crawling
