Overall Satisfaction with Checkster

We have a robust seasonal staff that we hire new every year. This can be as many as 200 hires a year, many of those being return seasonal employees but a large number being brand new employees. Conducting background checks can be an arduous process as well as the many hours spent interviewing candidates. Checkster makes this process far easier and allows us more time to find ideal candidates without having to work through a lot of the smaller issues that often weight us down in the process.
  • Decentralized input throughout the hiring process
  • User friendly access module that our entire staff can collaborate with
  • Outstanding detailed reports that we are able to combine with our candidate jackets
  • Probably not ideal software if you have very low turnover or are not hiring on a regular basis
  • While the reports are outstanding, there are not a lot of options available for customization
  • The learning curve is a bit steep, especially if you do not have a full-time Human Resources professional within your organization
  • Easy access from various media
  • Ability to collaborate with all hiring staff within the module
  • A very cost-effective way to accomplish a large amount of work
  • We were able to cut a full week of time spent Hiring Our seasonal staff this year thanks to Checkster. Long-term this will amount to significant savings in overhead on full-time staff.
  • Getting the right hires the first time is an invaluable way to start off our regular season.
  • Checkster has made it possible for us to avoid hiring a full-time Human Resources associate and allows us the freedom to conduct the hires ourselves as a staff.

Checkster is best suited for organizations that hire more than 100 applicants a year. For organizations with high turnover, this is an outstanding way to weed out candidates early in the process and make more room for sound decision making with current hires. Organizations with seasonal and or hourly staff would benefit greatly from this application.
