Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure helps your admins

We use Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure to simplify and centralizenetwork management in DC.
Using the API the management of the fabric is automated.
Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure is the product we want to use to segment our network in an application based way using features like ESGs and Contracts.

Till now we don't see much difference, because we only use Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure in a network centric manner, but we are optimistic about the possibilities with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure in providing more security in our DC network.

First of all using the API that Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure provides really helped accelerating different configuration in our network, like adding new VLANs, Subnets or just configuring Interfaces. We use Ansible to automate the configuration. Well this had a positive impact on our infrastructure since the network Admins don't have to configure every switch separately.
