Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches

We have a few models in different roles. In one case, it is a Core Router. In another case, it is Texas Switch. We were using multiple functionalities for let's say NPLS. We also tried some unworking functionalities where we had issues with it. I was exploring QOS fields in that case. We were using it for application hosting and so on. So it's depth involvement.
  • Stacking switching documentation is great.
  • Application hosting is useful.
  • Upgrade is simplified.
  • Functionality. Well, one of the functions that we are missing is a faster route based on OSPF. Other than that, it could provide an upgrade without a hitless upgrade. Well, now it is a very fast upgrade, which is also okay. We had a case when the platform crashed, but that was a specific case. We were happy with this product.
  • Positive impact is that it works. I don't know what to say. Well, it's good replacement for the old equipment.
  • Negative impact may be the price and the features that are not there.
We employ the application hosting functionality and we are using VPC, which could be part of SDN.
Capabilities. Customization and manageability. Well, in the testing phase, we were using telemetry, which could be a new feature. Other than that, nothing comes to mind.
