- ThousandEyes
- Cisco DNA Center
- Cisco Meraki MX
- Cisco Catalyst Switches
Provide the same level and quality of connectivity for remote and on site users. Troubleshooting is also a challenge when a user is working remotely.
For some users, a piece of hardware like Meraki MX has been provided in order to keep good visibility of their network quality and be able of troubleshooting and testing. For others, Thousandeyes has been very helpful as we can get a very good level of insight without requiring any additional equipment.
Network engineers have benefits using monitoring tools for remote workers as they can troubleshoot easily what is going on when complaints are received.
Comparing with Meraki switches, Cisco Catalyst Switches are more reliable and have more advanced features and configurations that make them usable in more scenarios. Troubleshooting (especially advanced) is better. Meraki of course is more friendly thanks to the GUI.

Evaluating Cisco Catalyst Switches and Competitors
I would consider not only pricing, but brand popularity, level of support and compatibility with international standards and other products. Additionally, it is important to take into consideration the history of the product line so you can have an idea of all the improvements it has acquired and for how long it will be considered a modern product.
