Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches
We use them to connect all of our employee's to everything they need. Without the access switches they would not be able to get to the resources they need. I work for the DOD so it's always a little behind the newest and greatest but it still has a great set of capabilities.
Pros
- I like the CLI
- I like how it integrates well with everything
- The hardware rarely fails
Cons
- Cost but I get it
- The positive impact is that they are very reliable
- The cost would be the negative impact
I prefer the Cisco CLI, maybe because I know it better but I believe Cisco is ahead.
