Overall Satisfaction with Cisco DNA Center

Currently using to deploy software upgrades to CAT 9K switches and WLC. Along with troubleshooting user access.

Pros

  • One location to manage devices
  • One touch upgrade to new versions
  • easy to look up user via name or MAC address

Cons

  • resources of all functionality of use
  • Positive impact in helping gather all our devices under one tool.
DNA Center is superior in that it can perform remote upgrades and stage the upgrades along with automatically identifying products on the network.

Home network latency that caused alot of disruption and lag with users.
Best used for large networks where managing switches, routers, WLC and APs. One location to manage and perform upgrades. Less approriate on small scale networks where upgrades and management can be done locally.
