Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Duo

We use Duo as MFA for domain login and for VPN login.

Pros

  • It can be easily configured for application usage.
  • Up time is very good.
  • Easy to use for users.

Cons

  • Sometimes we receive client lock-outs and are not sure what causes them.
  • If someone is on wifi with a low signal and connected to a VPN, it will keep sending a Duo push at every reconnect. Not Duo's fault, though.
  • MFA is necessary now for cybersecurity insurance, and Duo makes it easy to meet that requirement.
  • We have very few complaints or issues with Duo from users.
  • It's not hard to configure the application to do what you want it to do.
Duo is the only solution we considered after conducting our research. There is nothing better.

We have been able to customize the Duo application, whether it is installed on a server or a workstation, and have the UI tailored to the environment.
