Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC Series Appliances) is being used in our organization for managing multiple sensors (Firepower). It addresses the ease of managing multiple device across different sites. It is easy to manage and deploy some changes in what site you like. The GUI makes it more manageable than others.

Alternatives Considered

I selected Firepower Management Center (FMC Series appliances) because it's easier to manage the firewall policies here and deploy changes in multiple device. There is only one central management that makes it easier to clean up any firewall rules. You can also monitor the devices health using its dashboard where you can see it.

Support Rating

I give it this rating because it is a work of marvel though it still needs some improvement and bug fixes but overall it is good. You can easily manage the device and you can integrate it to several devices like AD and ISE for more security purposes and I think it's awesome.

Usability

Overall usability is an eight for me because it is easy to manage the firewall policies and monitor the devices' health. The configurations are all done in the GUI which makes it more convenient and hassle free. You can also see the devices' health and the progress of the task thru its taskbar.

Likelihood to Recommend

The Cisco Firepower Management Center is well suited for large network or multiple deployment of Firepower sensors. It makes it more manageable and easy to deploy any policies when using FMC or you want to manage it remotely. This is not applicable if the device can be managed locally.
