Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headset 700 Series
The Cisco Headset 700 Series is being used by our teams working in a hybrid environment. The 700 series headset comes with a nice carrying case that assures you the headset will get to the office or wherever you are working safely without damage. The headset is a little heavy compared to previous headsets that I have used. The ear cups also sit on top of the ears rather than housing the whole ear. The sound quality is great and even though there is no boom mic, my customers never have a hard time hearing me. I use the USB dongle with my pc and Jabber softphone and the headset does connect to Bluetooth devices. Install the app on your phone and it allows various settings to be customized.

- The headset comes with a rather sturdy carrying case, which gives me peace of mind that my headset will make it back and forth to work in one piece.
- Although this is a boomless design, I have not had any issues with customers stating they can't hear me or my background is too noisy.
- The headset is a little heavy compared to previous headsets that I have used.
- It is difficult to dock the headset in the dock. It takes me a few minutes to make sure it is sitting in there correctly and charging.
- The mute button is in a odd location--on the front of the left ear.
- Better sound quality for my calls with customers.
- Wireless headset allows me to be mobile and move around from my desk.
- The weight of the headset does hinder me from wearing this headset for long periods of time or for a full work shift (8 hours).
The [Cisco] headset [700 Series] was extremely easy to pair and set up. The instructions that came with the headset are simple, but do a great job of providing the necessary information or feature functions on the headset. I was able to pair this headset to the Bluetooth USB-A dongle and my cellphone in under 10 minutes! Overall easy to set up!
Although the [Cisco] Headset 700 [Series] is a boomless headset, there are no issues with audio pickup and quality. I am on meetings and customer calls all day and I have not had a single complaint about my audio quality. You are able to customize the audio settings using the app!
Yes, we have used the customization on a[n] individual level rather than at the organization[al] level. This allows us to have each user control the settings as they are using the headsets on a daily basis. The mobile app makes the customization process easy and painless! You can adjust the headset to whether you are on calls, meeting, or just listening to music!
