Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Go

Meraki Go is a great internet solution for our staff and our customers. The brewery is always filled with people coming to watch the Sunday Night Football Games, and our great, secure internet connection is unrivaled by the other bars in the Downtown Fresno area. Everybody in our brewery appreciates the quick internet speed we get, to check on different sporting events, and also for our patrons to use their mobile devices safely without having to worry about hackers taking some of their information. The app is also really easy to use; with just a few clicks, we set up two different networks, one for our staff members on a secure network and another for the general public to use. I have my own small business that I want to set up based around clothes, and I can be sure that Meraki Go would be a nice, lightweight option for my internet service.

  • Great support team, they got back to me within an hour of my purchase.
  • Secure network provider, haven't had an issue with stolen passwords since switching from Ubiquiti.
  • One thing I would add is that sometimes the app has downtime or works particularly slowly on the weekends. Why that is, I'm not sure, maybe because I have an older iPhone.

  • Meraki has improved our business and our sales by a lot.
  • Customers are always happy to enter our brewery and have a drink, even more, when their internet works to near perfection.
  • I even catch myself watching an episode or two on netflix during my lunch break, considering the internet can support my 4k streaming.
I would say that our company has greatly benefitted from using this internet service. It was relatively simple to set up the unit, and the application, and in about 2-3 hours, we were completely up and running with faster, safer internet that was accessible within our price range despite the lower budget due to coronavirus locking businesses down for a good while.
We have not implemented any other Cisco products just yet, but when we find a necessity, I will certainly consult the other staff about adding more Cisco products to aid our business.
I would give the scalability a rating of 9 points because it was relatively simple to use, and I'm sure with the purchase of more units, each department of whichever business you run will find it relatively simple to set up the software and hardware. The price is also pretty difficult to beat; Ubiquity was too much for our company, maybe because it had too much to offer. Cisco Meraki was the perfect piece of the pie for Sequoia Brewing Co.
Cisco Meraki is much more secure; I haven't had a single data leak. With Ubiquiti, I had two of my Shopify payment accounts hacked because someone was able to find my password while I was supposedly on a secure Ubiquiti connection. I believe that their speed was alright but did not match up to Meraki Go in my experience.
One of the better times Meraki Go has proven useful was when the Fresno Grizzlies have baseball games, and many people come to our brewery to watch it on our televisions or stream it on their phones. The quick internet service allows us to attract more patrons and also improves their day. Half of the time, people are coming into our bar just to use the internet and end up buying a few drinks! The business had shot up thanks to our switch from when the pandemic started in 2020.
