Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki SD-WAN

We use the Cisco Meraki SD-WAN as corporate, for general IPSEC, etc. Lately we had a case study that we had to implement ThousandEyes on a customer MX series, and it wasn't so simple, we had to get some help from a Cisco engineer, and finally we succeeded. I recommend simplifying it if possible; thanks.

Pros

  • Routing
  • Very good management
  • Good visibility via the SaaS portal

Cons

  • Don't have something in mind
  • Cisco Meraki SD-WAN gave us a new perspective on SDN, ZTP and other automation tools we didn't have before
  • The sizing of Meraki MX series cannot compete very large and robust networks, only if we use virtual appliances. In this case, I would recommend on other vendors like Fortinet
Very good for fast deployments thanks to ZTP and other automation capabilities. Very good visibility and insight dashboard. Having said that, there are more comprehensive cloud options like Juniper Mist.
One platform, one dashboard, single pain of glass, very user friendly.
There is a limited portfolio for data center networking or large scale of WAN \ SD-WAN
