Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker
As you know there are a lot of challenges that you need to solve when you have a teleworker. Some of them are: 1.- Zero onsite IT Support 2.- No access to VoIP Telephony (you need VPN) 3.- SaaS Application Performance I would say Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker solved these Challenges and others.
- Zero Touch Provisioning
- VPN Device
- Gateway Device
- Firewall capabilities
- When Internet is lost and come back we need to reset the Z3 device from the dashboard in order to register the IP Phone to CUCM
- It would be nice to manage the Z3 device to a local web portal just for TS
- Max Speed 100Mbps. It would be nice if it could run up to 1GB

Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker is easy to manage because you can access and configure it from the Dashboard. From a single pane of glass, you can configure your Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker but also the other Meraki Devices (MX, MR, Sensors, etc).
- Cisco Meraki MR and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager)
Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker has helped us to easily onboard our teleworkers to the organization. This product, for sure, gave us a good opportunity to perform our security and integrate other products at the teleworker site that includes, APs, IP Phones, DX80, etc. For us, it is a good solution.
- Cisco 800 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 800) and Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4000)
With Cisco 800 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 800) you can establish VPN connections and maybe integrate the IP Phone to your CUCM; however, you need an expert in place; you need to configure it with tunnels GRE or VPNs for example; you also need to configure other VPN devices on the main site. With Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker you just connect it to the Internet and make some easy configuration from the Meraki Dashboard and are ready.
