Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Routers

  • Cisco ISR 800 Series
  • Cisco ISR 4000 Series
  • Meraki MX
We resell Cisco Routers to our customers to be deployed at their respective branches. These are being used by all of our customers. There are no problems using Cisco Routers other than bug's related to IOS software.

Pros

  • fast and reliable
  • good ROI
  • flexible

Cons

  • IOS improvements
  • more memory
  • more powerful CPU
  • the only issue was the known hardware issue that affected thousands of Cisco devices a couple years back.
Yes it was and we have tested this with multiple vendors on the switching side
Yes we have. we have implemented various security features on all our routers. mainly zone-based firewall features


We are a 100% Cisco shop so have no experience using other routers.
We are a Cisco partner and a 100% Cisco shop so have no experience or knowledge of how these stack up against other vendors.
So far Cisco Routers have been suited in any environment we have deployed them on.
