We use it to manage our netapp compute. When there's power blackout and we can't get to a site, remotely login using this to boot up our netapp compute and storage.

Pros

  • Redundancy
  • Resilience
  • Ease of use
  • Reliability

Cons

  • More intuitive
  • Make it easier to deploy , less complex
  • More User friendly where more descriptive policies cab done up to suit particular environment
  • Less downtime to power black device a remotely preventing high loss
  • Quick turnaround for systems to be back online
  • Hardware costs reduced
For its economical hardware value and because our environment has mostly Cisco devices so for standizing and ease of management of compute and storage.
Well we can easily turn devices back with less downtime which improves productivity for our techs to save time physically going to a location, please the users productivity is maintained quickly to avoid drops due to techs unable to travel to problem site. So this is increased production for our team (ict) as well as the end users.
