Overall Satisfaction with Cofense Triage

It is being used by the information security department and to review phishing submissions and respond to potential threats. I also consider the feedback to be a form of end user education which is shared company wide.

Pros

  • The ability to build recipes to address submissions faster is priceless.
  • The setup was very easy to complete and didn't involve any major learning curves.
  • I appreciate the ability to make use of enrichments and collaborate with other products to enhance the capabilities of Cofense.

Cons

  • There are too many interdependent pieces which you have to acquire separately.
  • I think Cofense has a lot of capabilities and usefulness, but I think it's too a la carte.
  • We own Cofense and PhishMe currently and there are some gaping holes that require additional licensing to close.
  • The biggest impact has been the time saved.
  • My company had nothing of this sort previously and we were stuck trying to make use of free resources and doing things very manually. Triage was a huge life saver in this area.
  • The ability to quickly respond to several users at once has been a great help.

I give PhishMe an 8 out of 10 because it really can do everything you want a tool to do. My only disappointment is that the licensing makes it difficult to take advantage of all of these features. Companies that may be hesitant to dive completely in may notice they are left wanting more without the full suite of products and features.
