Veritas NetBackup and Dell EMC Networker

Veritas NetBackup is an old backup program, you must make SQL configuration on the client using files.
Dell EMC Networker is also an old program, it can't make own deduplication and compress on a dummy disk. You must login to the client for installation and troubleshooting. It takes a very long time to fix a problem. Troubleshooting is very hard, even if you open a case to the vendor.

Generally, Commvault support is very fast. We can send all master server, media agent and clients logs easily with one click. Usually case owner fix the problem with logs and sometimes they need to make remote connection. It is easier to convince them of remote connection or to take the case to a higher level engineer, if we compare to other vendors.

Commvault offers very good backup software for big enterprise companies. It also has archives and replications in single software. Additionally, we can use workflow for programming, write scripts for backups, monthly restore tests, get snap and mount on the storage, or whatever else. Reports are very useful and user-friendly.
