Overall Satisfaction with Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery

We currently use Commvault to backup all of our physical and virtual servers. We have been able to successfully restore files and servers every time that we needed to. Commvault is a great tool for making sure that your data is in multiple places and gives you an easy way to verify that your backups are happening as they should be.

  • Their support is great, always ready to take care of the customer
  • Options, there are a lot of things that Commvault does besides backup your data

From my experiences, Commvault has a lot of options that I have experienced in other backup solutions before. The AI that is built into the product is a nice feature that helps us maintain our storage and ensure that backup data doesn't get out of control. Built-in ransomware protection is also a great feature that I have not seen before either.
Every time that we have had an issue they have been quick to respond, resolve and explain the issue. They go above and beyond to ensure that their customers are taken care of.

I think that Commvault is well suited for mid-large environments because of the options that you have and how easy it is to implement different options. For small companies, there may be too many options that would not be used. Overall it does a great job for what we need it for.
