Overall Satisfaction with Conga Composer

We used Conga to send templated emails to our customers about their opportunities. It worked within our opportunity/account objects to send directly using our Salesforce data without having to navigate between various other platforms.

Pros

  • Relate to salesforce objects.
  • Good formatting
  • Salesforce integration.

Cons

  • UX- clunky older looking software.
  • Speed
  • Tutorials on how to edit and change Conga.
  • Saved time on doc creation.
  • Allowed for custom template builds using oppty data.
I was never taught how to set it up on the backend, but that would have been helpful.
As I mentioned before, there are other workflows that we can use to replace Conga. Compared to other document-generating/sending software, it is not that competitive. However, we only had one niche use case for the software.

Conga was helpful for some time in our organization, but it was only used for one specific email-sending task, which we decided to offboard to another system. There are so many email-sending softwares these days, and Conga is not that competitive a product.
