Overall Satisfaction with Control-M

In our organization, Control-M Runs our overnight batch jobs.

Pros

  • SLA (service level agreement) management
  • Runs distributed and mainframe jobs

Cons

  • I think there is room for improvement in Control-M because Not all features have api (application programming interface) support
  • I think there is room for improvement in Control-M because, in my experience, API (application programming interface) is not scalable
  • I think there is room for improvement in Control-M with Customized reporting

I gave Control-M this usability rating because, in my opinion, Control-M works fine. A little complex especially calendar scheduling.
We chose Control-M because, in our experience, Autosys is more simple but lacks mainframe support
