Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand
Cornerstone OnDemmand is used as a Learning Management System for Team Rubicon's ongoing training needs for disaster response and disaster response management. It addresses a common problem in our space of effectively orienting, educating and training a broad base of geographically diverse people economically and efficiently.
- Readily available online coursework - volunteers are diverse in their background, location and available hours and they need 24/7 access from around the world.
- Technical operational - sites flow extremely easily with no technical hang ups. I have used many online LMS platforms and most are not "wrapped too tight," i.e. they have frequent technical issues to include caching problems with streaming media and hung pages in the middle of a class or a section.
- The course guide off to the side of the page is not very intuitive and makes navigation difficult at times.
- I am only a volunteer. This question does not apply to me in my role.
The organizations for which I work and/or volunteer selected Cornerstone and I was not a part of the decision to select Cornerstone. I have used Plateau and Saba in the past.
