Cornerstone OnDemand - Requests your attention
Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand
Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) is being used across the whole organization; and across multiple divisions/brands. We utilize the ATS, LMS, Performance and Compensation clouds - addressing an integrated system for talent management.
Pros
- They are a growing company and they listen well to users about enhancements.
- They have a solid customer service front, from implementation to post-go-live.
- Beyond what users may suggest, they have a well communicated vision for the direction of enhancements they want to implement themselves.
Cons
- The ATS is still developing. It has a good foundation - but needs more process friendly re-development/enhancements.
- We have a unique customized project that has been pushed out in development several times, resulting in us pushing our go live date. (That being said, we know they're working hard on it.)
- We've had a drop off on internal applicants for jobs by a significant amount, from our previous ATS. We're trying to find ways to bring that back up.
- Touch upon the delay in going live with a custom LMS offline player project - resulting in more extended contracts, revised internal comms, etc.
- Has maintained the level of training through the LMS from going live for the initial employee population it was rolled out to.
- Helped set a new process for Performance management - that is being received well.
For ATS, I've used NEOGOV, PeopleAdmin and a few smaller systems. Since CSOD's ATS is fairly young, it could use some pointers from the more established systems. But it has a good foundation and CSOD's teams desire to improve it is reassuring that we'll get a better product before too long.
The LMS, I've used homemade systems mainly. Those are much simpler. The LMS is very comprehensive and offers about as much configuration as you could need. Good system overall.
