Overall Satisfaction with Crownpeak DXP
We currently use Crownpeak DXM for some of our clients. For the clients that we provide web content management services via the Crownpeak DXM, they use the platform all across the whole organization also in different languages. The tools provide a seamless content management operations process; the workflow structure and content management process allow non-technical users to create state-of-the-art customer experiences with limited teams. In-built DQM (Digital Quality Management) tool gives the marketing teams the ability to audit their content for accuracy and accessibility. The system has a decoupled deployment structure; as content authors, we are able to create, manage and push content globally (in various languages) with fewer efforts and shorter turnaround times when it comes to delivering complex digital projects without any IT involvement.
Pros
- Build & manage digital experiences without dependency on your IT team
- Built-in Digital Quality tool (DQM) tool allows you to check the quality of content and any accessibility issues and immediately flag any issues before publishing.
- Build websites with the component-based technology and spend less effort in creating the best user experience for the end-user
Cons
- Platform can be slow sometimes.
- Training materials are limited
- Improved accessibility scores of many of our clients
- Improved all over digital experience of our clients
- Huge cost savings due to SaaS as no upgrades needed
- Shorter time to market ability with accelerators
- Add more websites quickly without incurring extra cost

We chose Crownpeak because of its adaptability, flexibility, and ease of maintenance. For example, in a client portal project we integrated Crownpeak with our customer's database servers and their existing services which they were already using for their own internal processes like managing documents, bills, etc. So, there was a need to connect all of them in one platform. With the flexibility of Crownpeak, we used Oracle Connection libraries, we used web services which are provided by other stakeholders, and we used server scripting when we needed to process these data on the server-side. All of them were possible because of Crownpeak’s agile structure. So basically, CrownPeak provides us limitless flexibility with the decoupled architecture.
The advice we can provide to digital
leaders out there is to select to work with tools & technologies that provide
them the ability to implement faster and move faster, that allows out of the box
integrations that developers can integrate in no time and most importantly the
ease of use without requiring IT, the ability to move quickly and make updates
or push out campaigns with ease and top notch security are some of the
differentiators that we would recommend that they should consider.

Crownpeak DXP Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- Third-party professional services
NMQ Digital certified partner of Crownpeak which is a global digital services agency with offices in Istanbul, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Kuala Lumpur and Portland.
Yes - We collect the requirements from the
client. Then we kick off the project by analyzing the requirements and creating
POC with key features in the Crownpeak DEV environment. In the meantime, we
complete the dev requirements and the design with the client. Then we start
working with the project by setting up the server, environments, and workflows
which becomes a very easy task thanks to Crownpeak’s built-in features
especially environmental workflow.
By using the component library, we have a
chance to create components for the elements which are repeatedly using on the
website which makes our development process easier and faster. When the
templates are ready, the developers perform unit tests on their own components
and deploy the project to the testing environment, so that the testing team can
perform the front-end tests.
After a back-and-forth between developers
and testing teams, we provide the pages to the client for review. After another
back-and-forth between the client and the developers, the client provides the
final approval, and then we are ready for go-live. The go-live process is also
very easy with Crownpeak. The live environment is already ready when we set up
the server at the beginning of the project so the only thing, we need to do is
to click a couple of buttons and we are live.
