Crownpeak DXM Review for Marketers!
Overall Satisfaction with Crownpeak DXP
My team within the larger organization uses Crownpeak to manage our entire digital website offering. In my specific use case, I use Crownpeak to build out and manage specific landing pages for the Enterprise marketing experience. The main business problem is to build out a space for those in the Enterprise space can come and learn about our product.
Pros
- The webpages themselves are relatively easy to build
- There are many creative options within the tool to use for web page build outs
- The UI is very clean and organized
Cons
- The taxonomies within Crownpeak are complicated and could be easier to be organized
- The platform itself can be slow at times (resolve times can be a bit long)
- More specifically, saving files can be extremely slow at times...
- Total cost of ownership from our previous web dev stack
- Less IT resources being used too!
- The above are the two main areas of focus where the tool has made a difference in our experience!
I was not at this team within my organization during the evaluation period of Crownpeak. However, my previous team used Sitecore. Crownpeak is a bit easier to use from a UI perspective and has more creative options within the tool. Sitecore's clunky UI also was a reason I found out later why we ended up using Crownpeak as our DXM.
