Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have replaced Last pass with Dashlane. It's also being used as an SSO for easy and quick signing in for Office/outlook/JIRA. It's made it easy to manage new and ex employees whose logins need to be created or revoked. The other use cases are for storing personal passwords and also to generate new strong passwords when you can't think of something creative.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Single sign on authentication

Storing passwords and sharing with the team

Cons

Keeps logging out every other day.
sometimes it stores multiple passwords instead of prompting us to replace the older one.
Some minor bugs where non password/login fields are also considered as password fields.

Return on Investment

Easier onboarding, offloading.
Less hassle and time wasted in forgotten passwords.
Easier to share passwords/much more secure way of doing so.

Usability

Last pass is pretty similar but I felt like Dashlane went a step further.

Yes - Last pass. It might not have had all the features we were looking for.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for personal and company use. If you deal with multiple teams requiring access to multiple products and have to keep managing who has access, this makes it a breeze. The plugin makes it very convenient to locate passwords manually if required and also helps in logging in. There's an autofill feature as well.
