Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager
Primarily used for Development and Grant Writing as there are many portals that require one log in for the organization. This allows it to be secure versus storing passwords in a Word document or messaging them to each other.
Pros
- Alerts you when a password is compromised.
- Keeps all of your passwords in one place.
- Allows you to share passwords with limitations.
Cons
- Providing you an alert before it overrides a previous password.
- Gives you a spot to make a note when you first save the password vs having to go back in. This is particularly needed for portals that all use the same base page (eGrants for example has multiple foundations using it, UT ID is another )
- Less time creating new logs in when an employee leaves
- Allowing efficiency within teams who need to utilize the same log ins.
