Overall Satisfaction with Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room

As a person working in financial due diligence, we mainly use Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room's when on larger projects, often with an international context. One of the problems we encounter often are files provided in PDF, with a lot of data in them. With the new pdf to excel converter, this has become less of a pain and adds real value, helping to speed up our due diligence process.

Pros

  • Search function works really well
  • pdf to excel conversion
  • easy to contact

Cons

  • When a client uploads a dump, it might be nice if it tries to auto sort and structure these files
  • I would say the pdf to excel conversion increased the efficiency on our project by 5%
  • the search function works really well, resulting in less time spent on finding the right documents
Super easy to use, very intuitive.

I really enjoy working on projects which use Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room as the quality of the software is just better and more complete than other providers.
We do not select the vdr ourselves.

It is well suited on larger projects with a lot of data coming in.

It might be less suited for smaller projects where there is not that much data to work with, however that would be a pricing discussion.
