Overall Satisfaction with DB2
We have our webmethods middleware installed with the backend database as DB2. We have been using it for past 5 years or so. It is being used by our department. Our middleware helps in order processing, inventory checkup etc. I am not an admin for DB2 but a user.
- It is owned by IBM. Getting support from IBM is very convenient.
- It is robust.
- Monitoring tools exist.
- Issue resolution or debugging an issue is difficult.
- Order processing was made easier.
- Transaction search was made quite easy.
