- Installation, particularly on z
- Easier to use graphical interfaces
- Easier and better reporting in the tool to avoid needing ISV software
- Db2 on z saves money as compared to duplicating the throughput with another platform

Upgrading Db2
Yes - Recently upgraded to v13. Each successive version has had improvements over the previous, concerning issues and downtime. Encountered a few issues with ISV vendor software which required several iterations of ptf’s.
