In our organization, We use Db2 in multiple applications solving multiple business problems and bulding products

Pros

  • Mature Enterprise Storage Solution
  • Performant structured data solution

Cons

  • In my opinion, there is room for improvement in Db2 with Licensing
  • Increased Uptime
  • Better integration with current eco-system
ACID

Db2 has enabled us to do Application Performance Tuning, which we couldn't do before.
We are underway to evaluate both, in their benefits versus concerns. One thing that makes IBM Db2 better is it is a very mature database with great performance
