Data replication tools ensure our company is consistent for users to access different data stores.Dell EMC RecoverPoint provides us reliable data protection.

  • Integrations for automation.
  • Compression options.
  • It's hard to gauge how many disks would need to uses based on the RTO and RPO for the replication sets.
  • Dell EMC Recoverpoint requires implementation that can only be done by EMC support.
  • Dell EMC RecoverPoint isn't simple to install and or set up without having bandwidth from our tech team.
  • (RPO) Compression options.
  • Dell EMC RecoverPoint replication provides the constant data protection you need to recover any application.
  • Integrations for automation for vmware.
  • Dell EMC RecoverPoint requires certain things to be implemented that can only be done by EMC / Dell support.

It is well suited if your whole environment is virtualized to integration with vmware SRM for automation. It isn't suited if you are not using a fibre channel switch network and could get expensive if you have a lot of storage to replicate.
