Overall Satisfaction with Dell PowerEdge R

We use Dell PowerEdge R for production, development, and testing in virtual environments. Each environment hosts applications from Databases, Web Servers to BI, and CRM applications on different Operating Systems and containers.

Pros

  • Amazing support, and we can easily find replacement parts & great documentation.
  • Good performance
  • Great compatibility with virtualization solutions

Cons

  • The product can be expensive for small business.
  • Sometimes the replacement parts take too much time to arrive.
  • The product lifecycle could be longer.
  • The servers are solid and required modest maintenance.
  • There are good and tech support options available.
  • If some parts replacement is needed, there are multiple retailers with good prices to choose from.
The Dell support is very good and always provide good solutions to our issues. The documentation and software available on the support website is accurate and updated.
The servers are very easy to use. The online documentation always helps if you have doubts about compatibility or functionality.
