Overall Satisfaction with Devart ODBC Driver for Oracle

It is used by our technology department. I have also heard that it is being used in the various department across the organization as well. We use this driver for back-end services across our various technologies.

Pros

  • Performance.
  • Reliable.
  • Deployment.

Cons

  • User Interface could be better.
  • Error Messages and error handling could be improved to be more relevant and specific.
  • Availability.
  • Performance of the transactions has improved.
  • It meets our business objectives.
Scalability and performance are the key factors in the decision.
Support has been great so far but still, it could be better.
