Overall Satisfaction with DISCO Ediscovery

DISCO is being used to host a large number of documents related to a fraud dispute. Our dispute Resolution Team is using it. It allows us to quickly batch out and review documents when they are received from other parties, as well as filter and search for specific documents effectively when required.
  • Search builder - this visual method of searching is very intuitive.
  • Doc review - the ability to customize the options available to reviewers helps to streamline workflow.
  • Ingesting - this is quick and easy to achieve.
  • I personally think that the landing page can look a bit overwhelming, especially when the majority of the screen is a list of documents.
  • Saving money - keeping doc review in-house.
  • Speed of preparation of bundles - easy to find documents.
  • External use - easy to give access to counsel team.
I have found that DISCO is the best eDiscovery platform I have used. Its standout features are the ease of ingest and review, but I also think the search builder function is extremely helpful and something that other platforms don't use. Its AI features appear helpful, although I haven't extensively tested these.
We needed to de-thread a series of emails reviewed, and a DISCO support team quickly and easily did this, dramatically reducing the number of documents to review. The support team has also been extremely helpful with any queries we've had.
We chose DISCO after having experience with it on another large case. We realized that, compared to other platforms, it was the most intuitive for handling large volumes of data. Personally, I think the UI of DISCO is more accessible and nicer to use than competitors.

DISCO is very well suited to document review and file management when the case is known to be large and potentially last for a long period of time. It is also useful when the team on the case is fairly large, as it allows for effective and easy work distribution.
