Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
I use DraftSight to create component and assembly drawings for new products. I am currently the only user but will soon be adding a couple more engineering staff. The best thing about DraftSight is that it reduces initial company start up costs. Not all startups can afford to pay top dollar for full capability CAD software.
- 2 D drafting is amazing because it is simple to use
- The graphics are as good as full CAD software with less complications
- The program starts and runs faster that traditional CAD software
- Resolution on large drawings is just acceptable
- Inserting external images is a little vague
- Got us going on making components for the new products
- Saved us money from having to buy full version of CAD
- Helped us make quick mods in response to vendor requests
